History of Environmental Arts: Part I
HEA II covered the architectural and arts history of the Aegean, Greek, Roman, early Christian and Byzantine cultures including early Medieval, Romanesque and Gothic periods. It focused on the man-built environments and the influences of the geographical location, social, religious, economic and political forces of each historical period. The quarter concluded with a project focusing on what it would look like if a historical site was inhabited and redesigned by another historical group: in this case I re-imagined the historical site of Borobudur if it was occupied and redesign by the Doric Order of Ancient Greece.
